"Honeycomb" design - This composition increases the number of cells (density), thus increasing the contact surface and significantly improving pressure distribution.
Specifically designed cover - Made of P.U., breathable and impermeable to liquids: - Suitable for incontinent patients. - Reduces the effects of maceration and facilitates skin perspiration. The cover is made from totally anti-allergenic fabrics and incorporates an anti-slip fabric on the underside. Practical: it has a removable pocket on the front of the cushion for storing small objects.
Effective, ergonomic and comfortable - The air cells adapt to the morphology of the person and optimize the contact surface, transferring the pressure to areas of lower risk allowing a reduction of the maximum pressures. Respects and adapts to all anatomies thanks to its dual zone system, allowing at any time a quick adjustment of the cushion to the morphology of each person. Effective against the effects of maceration, thanks to better ventilation in the areas at risk and the breathability of the cushion cover (made of breathable, liquid-tight P.U.). An effective and precise inflation device - An inadequate level of inflation reduces the effectiveness of air cell cushions. Variations in inflation of different zones (in various mmbars) are not detectable by hand. The only way to correctly inflate an air cushion zone is by means of a pressure gauge. Only with the pressure gauge it is possible to take into account the weight and contact surface for each person, being a guarantee of effective prevention. Two separate zones (double valve) - Polyair cushions have two totally independent zones to inflate each to the desired pressure. This design makes possible the correct rectification of imbalances (pelvis) in the person, while providing the restoration of postural stability and control."
